The Recruitment Bunker are recruiting for an Events Manager based in Coventry. 

As a talented Events Manager you will be responsible for conceptualising, planning, and executing a wide range of events, including product launches, promotional events, exhibitions, and corporate functions. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of each event, aligning with the company’s objectives and enhancing brand visibility and customer engagement.

Role Responsibilities

Event Planning and Coordination:

    • Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, and logistics, ensuring all aspects are meticulously organised
    • Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and partners to execute events seamlessly, from inception to completion
    • Source venues, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to optimise resources and achieve cost-effective solutions
    • Oversee all event-related activities, such as catering, transportation, audiovisual requirements, and staffing, to deliver exceptional experiences

Creative Concepts:

    • Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to put in place innovative event themes and activations that resonate with the target audience
    • Create engaging event agendas, presentations, and collateral materials to support promotional efforts and brand messaging
    • Ensure brand consistency and adherence to corporate guidelines across all event materials and communications

Stakeholder / Team Management:

    • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and senior management, to understand their objectives and align event strategies accordingly
    • Liaise with external partners, sponsors, and industry contacts to enhance collaboration opportunities and maximise event impact
    • Lead and manage the team of Event Coordinators and delegate tasks where necessary to support the smooth running of events

On-Site Event Management:

    • Oversee on-site event setup, operations, and troubleshooting to guarantee smooth execution and attendee satisfaction
    • Act as the primary point of contact during events, addressing any issues or emergencies promptly and effectively
    • Supervise event staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure roles are fulfilled efficiently

Post-Event Evaluation and Analysis:

    • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of each event against predefined metrics and objectives
    • Analyse attendee feedback, performance data to identify areas for improvement and inform future event strategies
    • Prepare comprehensive reports and insights for management review, highlighting key learnings and recommendations

Essential Skills

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within Event Management preferably within Automotive sector
  • Proven experience in planning and executing events of varying scales, with strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working within a Luxury Retail Environment or High-end Automotive Sector
  • Immaculate Presentation
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to overcoming challenges, with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams, delegate tasks efficiently, and foster a collaborative work culture
  • Proficiency in budgeting and financial management, with the ability to develop and adhere to budgets while optimising resources and controlling costs
  • Experience of working within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to create and set the Events strategy around the events calendar
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written, and able to liaise with multiple touchpoints across the business
  • Good analytical skills to assess, develop and improve on future events
  • Proficient in using all Microsoft Packages to an advanced level
  • Efficient problem solver and ability to demonstrate great leadership skills to motivate and lead the events team
  • Must have IDLR/ Full right to work in UK- Sponsorship will not be provided.
