Due to rapid growth the Recruitment Bunker have exciting new opportunities for highly driven, successful individuals that want to further build and develop a professional recruitment services hub, helping build the Recruitment Bunker brand.

This role comes with exciting opportunities to not only exclusively support the McDermott, DRVN and BNKR Groups of businesses but to also support the expansion of the external RB division and grow your own recruitment desk should you desire.

  • Salary – £28,000 to £35,000 DOE & Commission
  • Holidays: 25 days plus 8 Bank Holidays (including statutory holidays)

  • Technical recruitment, across Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction, Public Sector and Retail sectors, with the ability to recruit for various other roles in different industries where required
  • Recruitment lifecycle: ensuring all activity is carried out professionally and in line with legislation, carrying out relevant employment checks i.e. right to work checks, Driving Licence Checks, Valid Disclosures etc
  • Ensure all candidates have the right qualifications for the role
  • Understanding the different business capabilities 
  • Identify market trends, carry out benchmarking activities and summarise for management reporting
  • The development of both existing business and generating new business wins
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates to ensure they receive the best possible service
  • Responsible for internal/external permanent recruitment services across several businesses, clearly establishing the requirements e.g. job description, hours of work, rates of pay etc
  • Write and advertise professional and effective job advertisements to attract candidates
  • Source, and identify suitable candidates for current and prospective business, building a strong database of candidates to place into businesses
  • Headhunting ‘A grade’ candidates through various platforms 
  • Represent the business at networking and recruitment events 
  • Use marketing tools to generate business and source candidates via LinkedIn, Job Boards, social media
  • Confidence in learning an in-house CRM system (Vincere) to manage the recruitment process
  • Working closely with the Commercial director and HR function, planning, and implementing strong recruitment initiatives 
  • To liaise with customers to arrange interviews, debrief candidates, and once candidate is successfully placed, hand over the offer process to the HR function for internal recruitment and correct contact contact for external recruitment
  • Working alongside the company’s marketing partner to develop the Professional Services brand

Essential Skills

  • Experienced technical recruiter, with proven ability of working within a fast-paced environment,
  • Understanding of Technical, Engineering, Manufacturing roles, with the ability and confidence to recruit for various other roles where required
  • Account management knowledge
  • Confidence in using CRM systems (Vincere)
  • Knowledge and understanding of recruitment databases, use of job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, and others
  • Previous experience of working within a recruitment agency setting or internal recruitment capacity, successfully placing candidates 
  • Proficient in Microsoft word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Proven ability to win work
  • Analytical skills and ability to produce reports
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and negotiation skills to maximise profit
  • Ability to prioritise heavy workloads
  • Adaptable and resilient 
  • Able to work using own initiative, but passionate and keen to grow and potentially manage a team
  • Driven and willing to go the extra mile to provide an excellent quality service to stakeholders
  • Flexible, hardworking and target driven
  • Honesty, trustworthy and professional
  • Hold a clean UK driving licence and willing to travel for business purposes where required 
  • Must have IDLR/Full Rights to Work in UK – Sponsorship or Work Permits will not be accepted/ provided.
