The Recruitment Bunker are recruiting exclusively for an experienced Technical Specialist – DVP / Homologation to develop & understand test requirements and to define the Design Verification Plans and support Vehicle Homologation activities.

Responsibilities

  • Company Policies: Follow the quality, health, safety, and welfare policies of the company
  • Coordinate the engineering team and test system administrators to produce and communicate vehicle and commodity test plans
  • Meet the test and certification requirements for vehicle type approval and certification by selecting correct routes for type approval
  • Support the Programme and Engineering team with Vehicle Homologation requirements and standards 
  • Communicate with suppliers to identify the components required to satisfy the test programme
  • Coordinate & control the required samples throughout the entire validation phase from ordering through to receipt, build and testing.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders / suppliers to ensure ample capacity for test requirements.
  • Liaise with type approval authorities in supporting applications for type approval
  • Booking of Individual Vehicle Approvals at Test Centres
  • Day-to-day Conformity of Production activities and administration including alignment with applicable laws, regulations, market surveillance and field service actions.
  • Responsible for initiating change control for all changes and modifications to the product including any updates to documentation (i.e. supplier component Type Approvals).
  • Company Policies: Manage and follow the quality, health, safety, and welfare policies of the company

Essential Skills

  • Engineering degree or equivalent within a relevant subject
  • A strong level of awareness and understanding of Vehicle Homologation requirements and standards to support the vehicle programmes
  • Ability to produce clear and accurate technical reports to an extremely high standard
  • Operational experience with excellent planning and communication skills
  • Engineering design knowledge
  • Ability to work efficiently within your role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excels in organisational skills and time management
  • A drive to learn and improve at every opportunity
  • Willingness to support others
  • Positive attitude towards mastering challenges and changes
  • Must have IDLR/Full Rights to Work in UK – Sponsorship or Work Permits will not be accepted/ provided.
